Economic socialization is important for children to survive and thrive in modern society. This line of research aims to investigate children's intuitive reasoning about economics at micro (i.e., mental-state reasoning), meso (i.e., social interactions and interpersonal relationships), and macro (i.e., inferences about social institutions) levels. Practically, these have important implications for understanding social fairness and economic inequality. 

To lie or not to lie for social good is a question. How do we make moral decisions under different circumstances, and how do different moral decisions affect our reputations and perceived social characteristics? Specifically, my work studies the consequences of prosocial lies –lies for friends (loyalty) and lies for one's country (patriotism).
